Charity Box of the Keren Hatorah

The Keren Hatorah was the Vienna-based Educational Foundation of the Agudath Israel that supported Bais Yaakov. Uriel Birnbaum, the son of Nathan Birnbaum, designed the charity box, as part of his larger work of serving as the Agudah’s unofficial graphic designer and artist. His work, not always credited, can be found in many Agudah and Bais Yaakov publications.
