Bais Yaakov of Shanghai

The Shanghai Bais Yaakov, which had 160 students at its height, was founded by refugees from Nazi Europe, both German and East European, in the Jewish quarter of Shanghai (around 1941, and continued to exist until the late 1940s, when the refugee community dispersed to other locations.
