Bais Yaakov teachers in Slonim

The women in the photo are: Devorah Brayne Epelgrad (Cohn), Bashe Shlomowitz, Neche Sidranska (the principal), and Sonia Jejrush. Bashe Shlomowitz, like Devorah Epelgrad, was a graduate of the Kraków Teachers’ Seminary (the principal apparently was not). Sonia Jejrush was the Polish teacher, suggesting that Slonim was a full-day school, with both Jewish and secular studies.
